As a Certified Life & Leadership Coach Danielle is dedicated to supporting you on your path to a happy and healthy life. Danielle’s health journey began twenty years ago after the birth of her son. She lost weight through planning her meals and exercise and was inspired to become a personal trainer and a physical education teacher at a private school in Virginia. Later in her fitness career Danielle found yoga as a method of stress reduction and back pain relief.
She is a Certified Yoga Teacher and an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in Fitness Nutrition. Danielle wants to create a space for her clients to live a happy healthy life through a set of regular practices including meal prepping, meditation and daily movement. In September of 2018 she completed Yoga Medicine’s Cadaver Lab Dissection for Yoga Teachers. She encourages body awareness and mindfulness throughout her classes. This offers students the opportunity to work on their range of motion, strength, core stability, relaxation and confidence.
Danielle is trained by Tiffany Cruikshank, LAc, MAOM, Doctor of Chinese Medicine and the founder of Yoga Medicine. Yoga Medicine is an anatomy based program that looks to intertwine western medicine and yoga. Therapeutically educated yoga teachers offer individualized programs for clients looking for comfort from “dis-ease”. This education enhances Danielle’s ability to work one-on-one with clients and their healthcare provider in order to find a yoga practice that is a compliment to medical care. Since her yoga certification, she has completed advanced trainings on Yoga for Seniors, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, the Health and Dysfunction of the Spine, Women’s Health and Infertility, Myofascial Release Therapy, Yoga for Mental Health & Wellness and iRest Yoga Nidra. Danielle has owned several small businesses, is a professional artist (painter) and a Retired Executive Chef.
