Terms, Conditions & Waviers

When taking classes or participating in private sessions you understand exercise includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for strength building, relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension.

 

Participation in yoga and other movement sessions includes, but is not limited to, participation in meditation techniques,  yogic breathing techniques, and performing various yoga postures. Yoga postures, or asanas, are designed to exercise every part of the body―stretching and strengthening the muscles and joints, the spine and the entire skeletal system. They also work on the internal organs, glands and nerves. Yoga incorporates sustained stretching, strengthens muscles and increases flexibility.  Yoga is an individual experience. 

 

Barre is a fusion of ballet, yoga, Pilates and strength training.  The class uses a variety of equipment including a ball, sliders and light weights or resistance bands. Participants can use a ballet barre, chair or the wall for balance and stability.  Barre features a long warm-up, low to non-impact style workout and stretching with relaxation to close.  While this is a structured resistance training program, it is tailored to the individual's fitness needs and can be set at their own pace.  Rest Periods are built into the class design and are encouraged.

 

As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always

present and cannot be entirely eliminated.  Your purchase and participation acknowledges that you understand and will progress at your own pace. If you experience any pain or discomfort, listen to your body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher.  If at any point you feel overexertion or fatigue, respect your body’s limitations and rest before continuing.

 

COVID-19

You acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk of being exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending this event.  You also agree to follow instructions given by the staff in regards to social distancing, washing hands and wearing gloves when necessary (gloves maybe required when bottle feeding baby goats or at the discretion of the animal caregivers).  

 

Yoga, movement therapies, and myofascial release are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga and some forms of exercise are not safe under certain medical conditions. You are responsible for deciding whether to participate. You hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that you have now or hereafter may have against the teacher, Danielle Rush, RedLife Yoga & Wellness or Red Art + Living, Inc.

 

By purchasing a package, event ticket or participating in a free event or an event with animals you acknowledge that participation in yoga and/or Barre classes exposes you to a possible risk of personal injury or illness. You are fully aware of this risk and hereby release the teacher, Danielle Rush from any and all liability, negligence or other claims arising from or in any way connected with participation in a class.

 

This further acknowledges that you shall not now or at any time in the future bring any

legal action against the teacher, Danielle Rush, RedLife Yoga & Wellness or Red Art + Living, Inc. and that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, my spouse, my children, my legal representatives, my successors and my assigns. Your participation verifies that you are physically fit to participate in classes and a licensed medical doctor has verified your physical condition for participation in this type of class.

 

 If you are pregnant or become pregnant or am post-natal, your participation verifies that you are participating in classes or private sessions with my doctor’s full approval.
